Batch Chemical Reactor

This exercise is based on a batch chemical reactor. The feed rate to the reactor is normally determined by the Max_Flow target but may be overridden to avoid violating temperature and pressure constraints. Batch temperature is maintained using split range control of heating and cooling media. The batch reactor process and control are shown below.
