Batch Chemical Reactor

The Batch Chemical Reactor Control workshop demonstrates the control and batch processing that can be implemented on batch chemical reactors. This batch example illustrates how batch control (external to the control moduel) is used to adjust control setpoints throughout the batch.

Step 1. In the Batch Control workspace, observe the changes in batch ID and control setpoints made by the batch control. Examine the chart to see when targets are changed in the batch.

Step 2. Increase the maximum feed rate target, MAX_FLOW, and observed the impact on the batch operation.
