Ammonia Plant H/N Control

This exercise is based on ammonia plant H/N Control. The impact of feed rate on composition control is minimized through the use of ratio control and cascade control to maintain synthesis loop H/N ratio. Ratio control is also utilized to maintain a target steam/carbon ratio going to the primary reformer. The Ammonia Plant process and H/N control are shown below.
